This past weekend was a wonderful weekend. Did we go anywhere - no. It was that we were home that made it so wonderful. Each of the guys from college stopped over for various reasons.
John and Amy came over - originally to learn how to make sheppard's pie (which we did do - good work Amy!) but John was feeling worse then before (has mono) so we ended up at Urgent Care. :-( They ended up staying over night - and we fed them breakfast and smoothies. (I am so glad that I painted and had all the rooms clean and ready - not always the case).
Saturday afternoon I did my leaf patrol with my handy tractor/leaf blower machine (thanks to my engineer husband) vrooooom, vroooooooooooooom.
On Saturday Paul showed up unexpectantly after working at Discount Fence and spent the night. We had bagel pizzas and smoothies and had a nice evening. Laura's friend stopped over as well.
On Sunday I met Chaz at Starbucks to do some paperwork thinking that - "Yes" I saw all three of the guys this weekend - only to get back home and a little while later - who shows up, but Chaz, Kim and Paula. Kim (who I had just told Chaz that I wanted to meet - because I knew she was new in town and was who Chaz and Jackie went to visit in Hawaii in January) and Paula (knew her from John's birthday party) wanted to go to Aurora Premium Outlets and asked Chaz to go with him. They were kind enough to stop at our home afterwards. So we had tea and cookies together.
I shall be on cloud nine all week. :-)
