Well, we had the first "Wedding of the Century" in our family was last weekend. Too say the least, it was a lovely event. The Lord truly brought John & Amy together - and they were gorgeous. It was amazing to look out and see all the people that kindly came to see this event - and to think how God strategically put them in John & Amy's lives to make them the wonderful young adults that they are. It brought tears to my eyes to see so many people that touched John's life through the years - from family, kindergarten teacher, parents of friends, to youth leaders and pastors that help to mold John.
What a wonderful first day to the rest of their lives together. A new beginning, the fun of driving away for the first time as husband and wife. I look forward to see what God has for them.
In another seven weeks, we get the privilege of seeing Chas and Jackie start their lives together as well. I feel so humbled that our boys have been drawn to such lovely, Christian women that truly love the Lord. I am also very appreciative to the Lord that both Chas and John will/have jobs in this tough economy to support their new wives.
The Lord has blessed us with wonderful adult children. As Paul and Laura continue to work on their education - I am/have been praying for their spouses as I did all these years for Chas and Johns......
