I keep saying we will be ok when Laura graduates and moves on. With a strong marriage - we will learn to cope and move on. Having said that.....
I have been so enjoying her being home schooled this year - and spending our mornings together. We have breakfast (the three of us) together, then after Chas goes off to work we have devotions and prayer and then ultimately we both end up down in the video lab - she doing school work and me doing either video or Lugs work until she leaves for work around 2:30. I have been spoiling her big time - with lots of hot drinks, snacks and lunch brought to her.
We have been discussing the possibilities for next year - and I am starting think about how quiet it will be without her downstairs with me. :-(
Not only that - but we have nice evenings together as well. In the 23 years prior - we were sticklers to eating dinner together in the kitchen - properly, with the TV OFF during the week nights. But with Laura as our little princess, she has us eating dinner in FRONT of the TV! Yes, the boys are absolutely shocked at our change.
This will be one more thing to miss.
